Lesson 4: Finishing Touches
In this lesson, I'll show you how you can add a few more details like the face shape, hair, etc.
One of the best tips I've heard for drawing hair is to think in terms of S curves and C curves (and occasionally straight lines.) Whether the hair is super curly or straight, you can pretty much use an S curving line or a C curving line.
Hairstyles (as well as eyes, noses, and mouths) come in endless varieties!! That's part of the fun of drawing characters. If you're interested in seeing more variety and how you can expand your female character drawing knowledge, join me in my character drawing courses!

Here's a breakdown of my very favorite pencil drawing supplies!
⚬ Pencils: 0.3, 3H Pentel lead with 0.3mm DraftLine mechanical pencil AND 0.5, 4B Pentel lead with Staedtler 0.5mm pencil
⚬ Paper: HP Premium Choice Paper
⚬ Erasers: Pink Pearl, Kneaded Eraser, Electric Eraser
⚬ Blending Stumps: Art Alternatives (You can also use q-tips to blend!)
⚬ White Gel Pen: Uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen
